hi all and happy almost spring (!!!) the daffodils are starting to bloom in the park and green grass is popping up and I spotted a few cherry blossoms a few days ago -- i. cannot. wait. for. spring.

it's been a while since I've been on the blog - admittedly I just haven't had time or energy for it the past couple of months. we've been battling sickness what feels like months. I honestly started the year extremely burnt out, exhausted, and in need of a break. and physical rest. I've been doing my best to rest more intentionally, eat more intentionally, walk through the day to day more intentionally. I started counseling which has already been such a breath of fresh air, and have made some tangible changes to my schedule. so many rejuvenating and much needed things. "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." - Matthew 11:29. seeking God to set the pace for me each day and doing my best to surrender the big things and small things.

all that to say - I'm excited for this space in 2023! spring is such a refreshing time in NYC, and I'm already feeling more like myself and more inspired in general. I'm hoping to show up here more consistently - sharing things I'm loving, things we're cooking, things that are bringing me joy. I'm really glad you're here.

the past few weeks I've been rearranging the apartment like a madwoman - anyone else feel the need to rearrange with every change of the season?? guilty. I'm excited to share some of the changes with you - especially the girls' room. :) their room is just my favorite room of all time. add in the spring sunshine and open the windows up wide and I could stay all day long.
