one of the things I get asked most often is for kid-friendly NYC recommendations! I figured I'd put together a list here for reference, and will add to it as we continue to discover spots worth adding to it. enjoy and let me know if you come visit, let's get coffee! x

(not a playground but right by Le Pain Quotidien there are some great climbing rocks - also a bathroom at LPQ)

(East 101th St & 5th Ave)
bathroom, close to East Meadow (also has a lovely view)

Margaret L. Kempner Playground
(E 96th & 5th Ave ) — pretty big, lots to do

(W 100th & CPW)

(close to the 42nd Street Childrens library which is separate from the main library - also lovely! during the summer they bring over carts of children's books from the library to Bryant Park, set out markers + paper, magnatiles, etc. one of our favorite things to do!)
